Red glitter look with Wet&Wild glitters

Today I want to talk about my first experience with glitter. It may sound unbelievable, as the blog title says "all that glitters", but I just hadn't had the chance to try glitter ever before.
One day I went to the local beauty store Ideaalkosmeetika, and 1. I saw Wet&Wild stand for the first time, which made me happy, I've heard there are plenty of good products from Wet&Wild and 2. I saw theses glitters, they didn't cost much at all! Only 2,50€. So I was pretty happy until then.

In reality, when I tried to use the red glitter (E3562 Vices), I was a bit disappointed... but maybe it was just me, maybe these aren't meant for eyeshadows, because using these as eyeshadows, these failed so miserably. As you can see from the pictures.

The texture of these glitters is waxy, it feels like lipbalm or something. So I guess maybe these would have worked better on lips? To add some glitter to lips? Or maybe to add some pop of colour to eyeliner... But I wouldn't recommend these, because my main reason for buying these was to use them as eyeshadows.

Originally I wanted to create a Valentine's Day look, but it looks more like a Christmas look. Oops haha :)

The last few posts have been quite negative, as I have failed or the products I have been trying out have not worked well for me.... I promise! I try to change that :)

Which glitter shadows would you recommend? I have heard the NYX ones are great, have you used them?

    1. Thank you for your honest opinion! I actually don't like red on myself either, but sometimes I just need to do something else than only nude looks :)
